LAPD Meets with Alleged Cosby Victim After Chief Pledges to Investigate Cases
Los Angeles Police Chief Charlie Beck publicly spoke yesterday about the Bill Cosby sexual assault allegations and said that the LAPD would investigate any complaints brought directly to them, even ones that go beyond the normal statute of limitations.
And tonight, the LAPD confirmed that they met with one of those women.
A spokeswoman for the department confirmed a meeting, but did not give any details about the woman in question or what she said. A woman named Judy Huth filed a lawsuit against Cosby in L.A. this week, claiming that he sexually assaulted her when she was 15, but it’s not clear whether this is the same woman who met with the LAPD tonight.
