Larry Wilmore Rips Rubio’s Weird Campaign Line About Ramming Things Down People’s Throats

The Nightly Show‘s Larry Wilmore has made a sport out of butchering the absurdities from the 2016 campaign trail, and on Thursday night, the TV vet blasted a rather obscure line from Florida Senator Marco Rubio.

It would appear that Rubio, who finished third in Monday’s Iowa Caucus and is aggressively campaigning in New Hampshire, has a penchant for a rather unfortunate phrase: “ram it down their throats”. Wilmore’s team compiled the, uh, let’s call it “best” of Rubio smash cuts using the phrase from the campaign trail. “I noticed a trend in his speeches are are very disturbing,” Wilmore noted.

“I have something indelicate I need to say to you,” Wilmore admitted, addressing Rubio directly into the camera. As artfully as only Wilmore can, he continued “Marco, hey man. When you talk about protecting your family’s Christian values, perhaps it would reflect your own values more completely if you refrained from employing a metaphor that means CHOKING ON A HUGE DI*K.”

Hey, at least it’s better than Donald Trump‘s “schlong” shot heard ’round the world. But, speaking of Trump, Wilmore did manage a few swipes at reports that the mogul suffers from some less than impressive anatomy. Check out the above video from Comedy Central to see for yourself.
