Lena Dunham Did Vote In 2012 Election, Despite All Evidence To The Contrary

Ever since this thoroughly-researched blog post appeared on Room Eight last night, conservatives have been gleefully spreading the news that Lena Dunham, creator of HBO’s Girls and star of President Obama‘s most sexually explicit web ad, did not actually vote in the 2012 presidential election.

As author “Gatemouth” reported in their “exclusive” story, “I can now report that according to New York City’s voter file, a Lena Dunham registered to vote in Brooklyn did not vote in the 2012 general election.”

Dunham was traveling in India during the election, but on November 5th, she responded “big time” when a fan asked her if she had voted in advance. And today, Dunham’s publicist ensured that her client did vote in November’s election.

Now, Dunham has delivered a mutli-tweet manifesto in an attempt to clear the whole thing up for good. But will it satisfy those who so desperately want the young star to be a political hypocrite?
