Limbaugh Calls Trump a ‘Leader’ for Not Going Along with GOP Debate Letter
Rush Limbaugh praised Donald Trump today for not going along with the GOP joint campaign letter by calling him a “leader.”
Trump’s campaign was the first to make it clear they wouldn’t be signing the letter, which included some very specific debate demands.
Trump’s team said he won’t be joining with any other campaigns and will instead be making direct requests of the networks, and Limbaugh loved that.
“This is what a leader would do,” he said. “Leaders don’t wait for committees. Leaders organize committees and tell other people to go to the meetings.”
He dismissed the idea that the GOP needed to show a “united front” and said Trump has really no reason to throw his hat in “with a bunch of people that are gonna end up being losers in this thing.”
