Maher Goes off on ‘Asshole’ Garrett: Why Not ‘Just Scream the N Word?’

CBS News White House correspondent Major Garrett raised everyone’s hackles yesterday with his question about President Barack Obama’s “contentment” in excluding American prisoners from the Iran nuclear deal, a question that drew a sharp reaction from Obama. Garrett’s colleagues quickly divided over whether they found the question contentious or Obama’s response unacceptable.
