Man Bites Dog, Goes Viral: Today, HyperVocal Introduces ‘Headlines That Suck’
Media company HyperVocal, “purveyors of the vital and the viral,” is today launching a site they’re calling, simply enough, “Headlines That Suck.”
The site, created by HyperVocal co-founders Lee Brenner and Slade Sohmer and OneMinuteNews.com’s Charlie Berens, is described as “a nonsense aggregator and comedic curator for online audiences that are sick of the noise in news,” as well as a means of allowing readers aggravated with overly punny, horrifying or obviously link-baity (technical term) to vent and share a laugh instead of burning their laptops and yelling obscenities.
HyperVocal readers can contribute by sending in very real absurd, nonsensical or downright sucky (again, technical term) headlines, and adding their own captions to further highlight what, exactly, makes them suck.
Have a look at the site right on over here. You can also follow its progress on Twitter (@htsuck) and over Facebook (Facebook.com/headlinesthatsuck).
