Man Openly Carrying Gun Robbed of Gun by Another Man with Gun

A man who was openly carrying his brand new gun was robbed of said new gun, by another man who held him up at gunpoint. (With a gun.)

Confusing? We agree! So here’s how it all went down, according to Oregonian Live:

1: 21-year-old William Coleman III from Gresham, OR purchased a new Walther-P22 that morning, and was openly swaggering ’round with it. (Oregon is an open carry state.) He happened to be outside at 2:30 AM the next morning, talking to his cousin on a street corner, when a young man approached them and asked for a cigarette.

After inquiring about Coleman’s new gun, the man pulled out his own gun and reportedly said, “I like your gun. Give it to me.” He handed over his gun and the perpetrator fled on foot.

Police are on the lookout for a 6’1″ man with a small goatee, short black wavy hair, and a trickster spirit.
