Mediaite Presents the Best April Fools’ Headlines That Aren’t Real But Should Be
In the spirit of the, let’s call it, “holiday,” we here at Mediaite really wanted to launch a crank version of our usual stories to “fool” readers with today. However, we realized one unfortunate fact to this plan: that given the absurdity of the 2016 election in all of its reality, it would be too tough to tell regular reporting from prank content, so we decided on the next best thing.
This post is devoted entirely to fake headlines — please do not be fooled. Everything you see here is completely comedic in nature, does not represent original reporting or writing by Mediaite in any way, and is meant purely to make you laugh. If you’re offended by any of these headlines however, too bad. Happy April Fools’ Day, suckers!
And for our loyal Mediaite commenters, please feel free to bash us in the space below for the faux-outrage you feel over these stories ;-)

This is an opinion piece. The views expressed in this article are those of just the author.
