Melania Trump on Her Husband’s Alleged Affairs: Not a ‘Concern and Focus of Mine’

Melania Trump, for the first time, is commenting on the alleged infidelity of her husband — President Donald Trump.

In a preview clip which aired Friday morning on ABC of an interview set to be broadcast on Friday night, the First Lady shrugged off a question from reporter Tom Llamas about the president’s alleged affairs.

“It is not concern and focus of mine,” Melania Trump said. “I’m a mother and a First Lady, and I have much more important things to think about, and to do. I know people like to speculate, and media like to speculate, about our marriage, and circulate the gossip. But I understand the gossip sells newspapers, magazines, getting advertisers and, unfortunately, we live in this kind of world today.”

Llamas asked her if she’s been hurt.

“Media speculating, yeah, it’s not always pleasant, of course,” Melania Trump said. “But I know what is right and what is wrong and what is true or not true.”

The ABC correspondent later asked the First Lady if she still loves her husband.

“Yes, we are fine,” Melania Trump said. “Yes. It’s what media speculate, and it’s gossip. It’s not always correct stuff.”
