Michael Moore Invades Every Other Country in New Documentary Trailer

Michael Moore is at it again. The liberal documentarian’s first big movie since 2009’s Capitalism: A Love Story premiered at the Toronto Film Festival Thursday night and has already attracted some major attention for buyers like IFC Films and Netflix.

The first teaser trailer, released on Friday, does not give away too much about what the film’s thesis will be, but rather depicts Moore “invading” various countries around the world to “steal” their “great ideas.”

In the same way that Moore contrasted America’s approach to guns and healthcare with that of the rest of the world in Bowling for Columbine and Sicko, respectively, Where to Invade Next is expected to tackle what other countries get right about issues like education and prisons. And by talking up the positives of female leadership in Germany, Moore could give Hillary Clinton’s campaign an implicit boost.
