Mueller to Reportedly Start Interviewing White House Staffers in Russia Probe This Week

It appears Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s investigation into Russian election interference and any potential collusion with the Trump campaign is really ramping up.

According to a new report by CNN, sources familiar with the probe have said that Mueller’s team will start interviewing current and former White House staffers in relation to the investigation later this week. It is possible that as the details get worked out, the interviews may be delayed until next week.

It has previously been reported that the people Mueller is really interested in talking to are former White House Press Secretary Sean Spicer, current communications director Hope Hicks, White House counsel Don McGahan and ex-chief of staff Reince Priebus.

In recent weeks, news has come out that Mueller’s team has told former Trump campaign chief Paul Manafort that he should expect to be indicted, and that he has been wiretapped since at least 2014. What’s more, Mueller is interested in Trump’s Oval Office meeting with Russian officials shortly after firing FBI Director James Comey.
