NBA Coach Tapes Mouth Shut During Presser to Avoid Criticizing Refs

Mavericks coach Rick Carlisle didn’t want to incur another fine for criticizing referees, as he did after Game 3 of the NBA playoffs, so he brought his own fix to the post-game press conference Sunday night.

Carlisle was fined $25,000 for criticizing the refs after the third game, telling them to get the Houston Rockets under control. It probably helped that Mavericks won Sunday.
