New Money-Making Idea: Get Kicked in the Head by a Train Conductor!

The breadth of viral stardom widens apace. Jared Frank’s YouTube video of his fool self getting kicked in the head by a train conductor metastasized last week. And where there’s buzz, there’s profit: Frank has allied with a licensing company to slop advertisements on his video, ads he said could net him anywhere from $30,000 to $250,000, depending on page views.

Frank hopes to use the money to pay for his Peru trip, and then film school, where he can make sequels to his selfie like Man Getting Kicked in the Head 2 or Man Hit in Groin by Football.

“I got all these different offers … and they were all legit,” Frank told CBC News. “I’m a little worried, but I have a decent relationship with the licensing company, so I trust them. I did a lot of research first.”

I know what you’re thinking: if only there were a GIF of him saying “I did a lot of research first,” and then getting kicked in the head. Gentle reader, Mediaite is here for you:
