‘Nothing But a Bloodsport’: Drudge Hits WaPo for ‘Openly Applauding’ Trump Intel Report

Drudge Report creator Matt Drudge emerged on Twitter again, and he is not impressed that Washington Post staff were cheering for the fact that their new bombshell report about President Trump set a readership record yesterday.
The report described how Trump shared “highly-classified information” with Russian government figures, even as the president continues to observe blowback over James Comey‘s firing. As WaPo reporter Glenn Kessler tweeted last night, the story was the outlet’s biggest scoop since their report about Trump’s infamous Access Hollywood video.

Evidently, Drudge does not approve:

The Recode article linked by Drudge leads to a November piece on how Trump might put antitrust pressure on Amazon CEO and WaPo owner, Jeff Bezos.
When WaPo‘s report broke on Monday night, Drudge came up with this banner as he gave the primary headline to Breitbart’s coverage of the story.

Drudge Report has moved on and the banner is now focused on a Fox 5 story which explores the investigation of Seth Rich‘s murder. The story particularly focuses on whether there is any evidence to confirm the various theories surrounding the former Democratic National Committee staffer’s death.
