NYC Chef Preparing Enormous Thanksgiving Dinner for Occupy Wall Street Protestors

As the Occupy Wall Street protests continue, undeterred by their eviction this week from Zuccotti Park, one New York chef is showing his thanks for the protestors by preparing all of them a large Thanksgiving dinner.

Eric Smith told the New York Daily News that this week he has started to prepare the organic meal, including 150 turkeys, 400 pounds of potatoes, and mounds of stuffing and cranberry sauce.

“We have a great Thanksgiving dinner planned for all the occupiers… We hope on Thanksgiving we can bring solace to all these people… Get together. Give everyone an inspirational boost. These people need a chance to rejoice. It’s been a rough two months.”

Smith is going to try and gather the 1000+ crowd of protestors for dinner at Woodstock, because “they need a chance to get away from the noise of the city.”
