NYPD Sends Real Navy SEAL For Psychiatric Evaluation After He Claimed He Was A Navy SEAL
Last Thursday did not go well for Shaun Day. He was stopped by New York City cops for running a red light, only to have them find a 9mm semiautomatic pistol and three magazines of ammo in his car. Day explained to the officers that he is a Navy SEAL with “top- secret clearance”… which promptly convinced the police to send him to Bellevue for a psychiatric evaluation.
The problem is that Day is actually a Navy SEAL on a two-week leave, despite how having had any documentation on him to prove this. A police source maintains that Day had been “rambling incoherently” at the time of his arrest.

All charges against him have since been deferred, although there’s no word on how he was able to prove his status.
