Obama Chased by a Lion and Bashar Al-Assad in Propaganda Photo

The following Photoshop has been making the rounds on Facebook pages supporting Syrian dictator Bashar al-Assad, whose relationship with Barack Obama is not good. It’s so not-good, that Assad’s supporters would like to see the U.S. president get eaten by a lion — or, according to this image, star in a really lame 90’s commercial for Nike:

See? Because Assad means “lion” in Arabic, and so he’s sending his spirit animal projection to chase after Obama, who is… Kenyan? But Kenyans run really fast, so couldn’t he outrun the lion? Metaphor!

Yeah, you Assad supporters kind of lost us on this one, because all we’re thinking about now is Toto:
