Old Trump Tweet on ‘Beater’ Chris Brown Resurfaces After Comments on Rob Porter

In the latest example of “there’s a tweet for everything,” an old tweet from President Trump calling out “beater” Chris Brown has resurfaced following his comments today about Rob Porter.
The White House aide is stepping down after domestic abuse allegations from two ex-wives. In his public comments today, the President noted how Porter “says he’s innocent,” wished him well, and did not really say anything about the women.
In 2012, the President tweeted this out about Brown, and given his comments today, it’s gotten some renewed attention:
If @rihanna is dating @chrisbrown again then she has a death wish. A beater is always a beater–just watch!

Unless you work for Trump. Then you can be physically abusive and yet still a good guy.
