Oops: CBS Affiliate Tweets Weather Forecast via Porn Site

Whoever runs the Twitter account for news channel WREG found themselves in an oily situation Tuesday. The memphis, Tenn., CBS affiliate accidentally sent out a link to a pornography site.

“Use our interactive radar to track the rain and storms,” read the tweet with a link to Pornhub.com, an online community pornography website.

The tweet has since been deleted but a screen grab of it looks as though the link went to a user profile on Pornhub. The user was named, at least in part, “Rockbone.”

A Google search of “Pornhub Rockbone” turns up Pornhub users “Rockboner,” whose profile exclusively consists of gay pornography. Research!

After deleting the tweet, WREG apologized. “We apologize for a tweet that went out earlier this morning,” read a follow up tweet.

WREG also sent out another tweet that suggested the pornography link was the result of a hacked account. “Have you you changed your passwords recently? Take it from us… Do it now,” the tweet said. “Also, resist public WiFi. For real…”
