‘Operation American Spring’ Protestors Gather in D.C. to Force Obama Out of Office

“Operation American Spring,” a movement inspired by the Arab Spring, made its way to the nation’s capital on Friday, where a small number of protestors organized to get President Obama and a number of high-level federal officials to leave office because of how they’ve ignored the principles of the Constitution. (Spoiler alert: no one stepped down.)

Organizer Harry Riley predicted that between 10 and 30 million people would show up to help the cause. Reports on the event say protestors showed up either in the dozens or hundreds, at most.

One of the organizers admitted to The Washington Times that it was a “very dismal turnout,” explaining, “I’ve been taking to everybody for six months, telling them to come and telling them if it’s not realistic to get to D.C…. well then, go to your county courthouse.”

The protestors aired grievances on everything from Benghazi to the Muslim Brotherhood, with the overall goal of forcing the ouster of President Obama, Joe Biden, Harry Reid, Nancy Pelosi, Mitch McConnell, and John Boehner, among others.
