Ouch: The Cheapest Cocktail at Trump’s DC Hotel Bar is $24 — And the Namesake Drink Runs $100
If you want to catch a buzz at Trump International Hotel’s lobby bar, you may want to take out a second mortgage.
As reported by the Washingtonian earlier this week, the drink prices at The Benjamin are eye-popping. The cheapest drink on the DC hotel bar’s signature cocktail menu — the Romanesque Revival — runs $24. Meanwhile, the namesake cocktail, which consists of vodka, rye, caviar and raw oysters, costs a hundred bucks.
This is the second time the bar has increased its prices since its soft opening in September. Previously, the cocktail menu showed drink prices ranging from $16 to $21, with the Revival, a bourbon drink, costing $20.

Since then, while the Revival has ‘only’ increased by $4, other cocktails have jumped up between $7 and $11 in price.
The bar also sells one-ounce crystal spoonfuls of Royal Tokaji wine, with the cheapest of the four offerings running $15 per spoonful. The most expensive — $140! (The bottles range in price from $225 to $2,250.)
If you were looking to save some cash by just sticking to beer, well, you better moderate yourself. A bottle of Bud Light goes for $8 while a Corona will cost a buck more.
