Report: Explosion Kills At Least 31 At Moscow’s Domodedovo Airport
News is trickling in about a bombing at Moscow’s busy Domodedovo airport this morning. So far, some reports indicate that at least 31 people have died and 20 others are injured, while Reuters is reporting that a total of 20 have been killed in what is being labeled by some as a suicide bombing.
Fox News Channel says it has received reports from local sources that as many as 31 are dead, 130 injured and that, prior to the explosion, some witnesses spotted smoke at the airport’s international arrival baggage claim area. Some 10,000 pounds of TNT are thought to be the cause of the explosion. They’ve been referring to the bombing as, alternately, a suicide bombing and a “homicide bombing.”
So far, no group or individual has claimed responsibility for the explosion.
We’ll update as news is revealed and confirmed.
