Ronald Reagan Will Be a Character in FX’s Fargo

The Gipper is coming to Fargo.

That’s right, Ronald Reagan himself will be a character in the upcoming second season of the hit FX series, based on the Coen Brothers movie of the same name.

According to TVLine, Bruce Campbell will be portraying the then-California governor during his run for the presidency. The season takes place in the late 1970s, and at some point the future president makes a campaign stop in Fargo and interacts with some of the other characters in one episode.

Campbell’s Reagan will join castmembers Patrick Wilson, Ted Danson, Kirsten Dunst, Nick Offerman, and others. The second season of Fargo is expected to air later this year.
