Roy Moore Campaign Speaker Tells Story of Vietnamese Brothel Visit With Underage Prostitutes
Roy Moore is still dealing with the controversy surrounding his alleged sexual abuse of several minors, but during his campaign rally last night, one of the speakers told an…interesting story about the embattled senate candidate in light of everything that’s happening.
Bill Staehle served with Moore during the Vietnam War, and he gave a speech about that experience in order to defend the aspiring senator’s character. To prove Moore’s moral fortitude, Staehle told a story about how a fellow soldier visited their base camp years ago, and asked if they’d like to join him at a “private club” to celebrate the end of his tour of duty.
The thing is, that “private club” turned out to be a brothel filled with young sex workers.
“We walked inside. It was clear to us what kind of place it was,” Staehle said. “There were certainly pretty girls. And they were girls, and they were young. Some were probably very young.”
Staehle said he and Moore left the place right away, even though the man who brought them there stayed behind. He continued to say that Moore is “honorable, he’s disciplined, morally straight, highly principled,” and that the accusations against him are preposterous.
“I’m buying none of it,” Staehle said. “It’s all garbage as far as I’m concerned.”
