Rupert Murdoch Calls Christie a ‘Suicide Bomber’ Upon Withdrawal from Race

Chris Christie is dropping out of the 2016 race, and apparently Rupert Murdoch is not exactly that sad to see him go.

Murdoch tweeted this out after reports came in of Christie dropping out:

Chris Christie, suicide bomber. Damages victim while blowing himself up!

It’s not entirely clear what Murdoch means by this, but it’s possible he’s giving voice to the kind of frustration some conservatives have that he’s hurt other Republicans––alternatives to Donald Trump––in his self-destructing campaign.
