Scaramucci Post Apologizes, Deletes Holocaust Twitter Poll

The Scaramucci Post is doing some damage control today over their now-deleted poll asking how many Jews died as a result of the Holocaust.
Anthony Scaramucci’s online media venture faced a lot of blowback on Twitter after it seemed like they were letting the Twitterverse determine the scope of the Nazi extermination campaign. Social media director Lance Liefer is apologizing for the poll, and insisting that his boss, the former White House communications director, had nothing to do with it.
This poll was put up by @lancelaifer without consulting @Scaramucci who is traveling in London.

The intent of the poll was to highlight ignorance of the basic facts of the Holocaust. I take full responsibility for it.

This is @lancelaifer and I apologize if anyone was offended by the Holocaust poll.
