Snapchat Starting Web Series Literally Called Literally Can’t Even
Get ready for what sounds like a game of Mad Libs: the social network Snapchat is getting into the original series game with a new online scripted show called Literally Can’t Even, starring Steven Spielberg‘s daughter.
Take a second to process that if you need.
The series won’t be like most other online series. According to The Hollywood Reporter, episodes (debuting on Snapchat’s new “Snap Channel”) will be about five minutes, and in keeping with the fleeting nature of content you send on Snapchat, the episodes will “disappear after 24 hours.”
The series will star (and is being written by) Sasha Spielberg and Emily Goldwyn, the daughters of Hollywood bigwigs Steven Spielberg and John Goldwyn. And again, the title is Literally Can’t Even.
Goldwyn says of the series, “These are snapshots of our life, which is perfect for Snapchat. It feels perfect for the generation that we’re writing for.”
