Somebody Made a Mardi Gras Float Taunting Atlanta Falcons Over Super Bowl Collapse

Undoubtedly, the Atlanta Falcons and their fans are still feeling the hurt, just eight days removed from having blown a 25-point lead in Super Bowl LI. As we posted about, some fans were so overcome with grief that they called in sick to work. College instructors even canceled their classes. It’s been a tough pill to swallow.
So leave it to the city of New Orleans — home of the Saints, a big Falcons rival — to rub some salt in the raw open wound. Nader Mirfiq, the sports director for online talk radio station WTXG, shared a picture of a float that will be featured in the city’s renowned Mardi Gras parade on Feb. 28.
They got a Ringless Float for the Falcons @ Mardi Gras. I love my city lmao. pic.twitter.com/y2pCoOV2Qo

As you can see, the caption reads “The Young and the Ringless.” And the float appears to feature the likenesses of Atlanta Falcons quarterback Matt Ryan, and wide receiver Julio Jones.
If there was any doubt about the target of the jab, this picture from the top of the float should clarify things:
Look what is on top of the float lmao. #WhoDat #FuckTheFalcons pic.twitter.com/WIudap2E9r
