Suspect Sought in Berlin Market Attack Killed by Authorities in Milan Shootout

 

amriAnis Amri, the 24-year-old suspect wanted in connection with this week’s deadly Christmas market attack has been killed in Italy according to authorities.

Italian state police confirmed that Amri, the subject of a German manhunt after his immigration documents were found inside the truck used in the Christmas market massacre that killed 12, was killed in a shootout in Sesto San Giovanni. The shootout began around 3 a.m. local time.
