Taiwanese Animation Takes On The CNN/Fox News Libya Feud

The ongoing feud between reporters at CNN and Fox News was mocked last night on The Daily Show, and now the Taiwanese Animation company NMA has joined in on the fun too.

First Fox News’ Jennifer Griffin said CNN reporters unwittingly became human shields. Then CNN’s Nic Robertson responded, calling the report “outrageous and hypocritical” and implying Fox’s Steve Harrigan is lazy and just focuses on eating breakfast. Finally, Harrigan replied that Robertson is “dull” and described his reports as BS. This war of words in Libya is humorously portrayed here, and so exciting that the animators predict Gaddafi is watching all of the action unfold on television while eating popcorn.

However, the most humorous parts in the video come from reading the scrolling headlines in the news tickers at the bottom of the screen. The CNN news ticker reads “Anderson Cooper looking hawt in a flak jacket” and “Piers Morgan’s show is excellent – trust us!” Over on Fox, the ticker reads “Obama getting bossed around by icky girls.”
