Ted Nugent: ‘There’s Nothing More Anti-American Than the Freaks that Hate Me’

nugentWell, Ted Nugent‘s certainly got a high opinion of himself. The rocker gave an interview on Tuesday in which he said that anyone who hates him therefore also hates America by default.

Nugent was recently re-elected as a board member of the National Rifle Association, and in a conversation with Joe Pags, he blasted off on the “scam artists,” the “criminals in our government” and Hillary Clinton supporters who want to keep gun users down. Nugent especially tore into “Bernie Mao Zedong Sanders” before proclaiming that “as the freaks hate me, I go, ‘Man, I really am right all the time.’”

Nugent is known for saying a great deal of controversial things about various subjects, and he also spent some time tearing into the people who call him out the most.

“There is nothing more anti-American than the freaks that hate me,” Nugent said. “When MoveOn.org, Media Matters, Southern Poverty Law Center, Rachel Maddow and MSNBC lie and spew their hate towards me, it’s because I stand with the best families in America.”
