Australian tennis star Nick Kyrgios is regarded by many as the bad boy of the pro tennis circuit. What the 21-year-old did Wednesday at a tournament in Shanghai will only hurt his already bruised reputation.
In his match against Mischa Zverev, Kyrgios completely gave up on a number of points, and lost a 48 minute straight-set decision, 6-3, 6-1.
Check out the video below, in which Kyrgios completely lollypops a serve and walks off the court before Zverev even hits his return:

The chair umpire admonished him for throwing the point:
“Nick, you can’t play like that, okay?” The chair umpire said. “It’s just not professional.”
That happened in the first set. Other purposefully blown points followed.
After the match, Kyrgios was asked if the paying fans deserved better.
“I don’t owe them anything,” he said.
“If you don’t like it, I didn’t ask you to come watch. Just leave.”
Kyrgios was fined $16,500 for “lack of best efforts” and several other violations, according to USA Today.
