Twitter was Furious That Duke’s Grayson Allen Tripped an Opposing Player Last Night (Again)

Duke junior guard Grayson Allen has a history of tripping his opponents. He’s already done it twice in the 2016 calendar year.

Wednesday night, it happened for a third time. In a game against Elon, Allen tripped opposing player Steven Santa Ana as he was driving down the lane.

As you can see in the video above, this was blatant — an intentional, flagrant, dirty play. Also in the video, you can see Allen throw a child-like temper tantrum after being hit with a technical foul.

Fans on Twitter were irate:

Even notorious Duke homer Dick Vitale called for Allen’s suspension. And when you’ve lost Dickie V…

Dickie V’s call for a suspension was apparently heard by Coach Mike Krzyzewski. According to Sports Illustrated’s Seth Davis, Duke has just announced an indefinite suspension for Allen.
