Terrorists Shut Down Brussels Starbucks — and The Hill Is On It

SbuxSmallWhen bulking up your homepage with wall-to-wall coverage of a terror attack, leave no stone unturned. The attacks in Brussels Tuesday morning killed at least 30 people, wounded over 200, and — as diligently reported by The Hill — shut down all of the Belgian capital’s Starbucks locations.

Starbucks operates about a dozen locations in Brussels, and they have all been closed, according to an article, which was entirely devoted to the closure of Starbucks, that The Hill published. It adds that “one explosion at the airport in Brussels occurred outside a Starbucks.”

“This store and all other Starbucks stores in Belgium will remain closed until further notice,” according to a statement from the Seattle-based coffee chain.

The article, which is entitled “Starbucks closes stores in Belgium after attack,” concludes by noting that Islamic State has taken responsibility for the attack.

This is an opinion piece. The views expressed in this article are those of just the author.
