Texas Army Base on Lockdown over Reports of Active Shooter (UPDATED)
The William Beaumont Army Medical Center in Texas, close to Fort Bliss, is currently on lockdown over reports of an active shooter on the premises.
Police already have arrived and people (including some reporters) have been taking pictures of the scene at the base:

Update- 6:59 pm EST: A more recent report from The El Paso Times says one doctor was shot, but not killed, while the shooter reportedly shot and killed himself.
Update- 9:24 pm EST: There are reports tonight that another individual, a doctor, was killed in the shooting.
