The Mediaite Team Reports From The Ground At ‘Restoring Honor’
Aug 28th, 2010, 3:49 pm

The view facing the Washington Monument. This was before Beck spoke, while people settled in to listen to other speakers.

The estimate for the amount of people in this shot after Beck’s speech is about 200,000. Estimates for entire event attendance are still temporary, but NBC (via Chuck Todd‘s Twitter feed) is calling the crowd around 300-325,000 people, not including those beyond the mall. Beck himself said the estimate is over 500,000.

Up at the stage. While Beck spoke, images of Native American, Abraham Lincoln, Frederick Douglass and other topics he mentioned scrolled along.
