The New York Times Website is Down and Allegedly Under Cyberattack (UPDATED)
For more than an hour now, the New York Times website has been down. According to Fox Business Networks, sources indicate the malfunction is due to a cyberattack.
Readers looking to find the Times‘ online content are currently being met with a variety of error warnings, including this (depending on browser):

Fox Business tweeted out that their sources claim the outage is due to “cyber attack”:

And Times reporter Charlie Savage tweeted that the outage wasn’t limited to the website:
Interesting. In addition to NYT website being down, it appears I cannot receive work account emails; I can, however, successfully send them.

UPDATE: After two hours, the website is back up and functioning. The Times claims the problem was due to a “server outage.”
