The View Mourns ‘Devolving’ Rudy Giuliani: ‘I Don’t Recognize This Man Anymore’

What happened to the old Rudy Giuliani?

That’s essentially the question Meghan McCain posed Tuesday on The View. One day after the latest bonkers cable news tour by President Donald Trump‘s lawyer, McCain and the rest of the panel seemed to long for the Rudy of yore.

“I am very nostalgic for the Giuliani of days past,” McCain said. “He used to be one of my favorite politicians. I don’t recognize this man anymore.”

“He seems to be devolving,” Sunny Hostin added.

McCain, though, questioned whether Rudy’s loony media hits are, like, nine-dimensional chess or something.

“Is he crazy like a fox to confuse all of us?” She said. “Because that could be the tactic.”

“Yes,” said Joy Behar in agreement.

Sara Haines wasn’t sure.

“Is this strategy to get you so confused…where [you’re] confused by the end?” Haines said. “Or is it that he’s trying to wing it, and he sucks at it?”

“I think the latter,” Hostin said tersely.
