The View Slams Hannity: ‘How Much Kool-Aid Has Sean Hannity Drunk Before He Drowns?’

Thursday morning, The View got its first crack at discussing Fire and Fury — the explosive forthcoming book on President Donald Trump’s White House. Many of the explosive revelations from the book were discussed, but one that received particular attention from Joy Behar was the claim that Sean Hannity was open to giving Trump interview questions in advance — a serious breach of journalistic ethics.

Hannity denies the charge, but Behar presented it as fact (“He is the one that would give Trump the questions ahead of time.”) and slammed the Fox News host over the claim.

“How much Kool-Aid has Sean Hannity drunk before he drowns?” Behar said.

Greta Van Susteren, who served as a guest co-host Thursday, took a second to offer a disclaimer before Behar launched into her attack.

“Sean is my friend,” Van Susteren said. “I worked with him for years.”

“I don’t care!” Behar shot back. “I really don’t!”

Sunny Hostin added, of the report that Hannity was willing to give Trump interview questions in advance, “That is something…journalists typically do not do. and should not do.

And Meghan McCain told Behar, “You just gave Sean Hannity his clip tonight.”

That much remains to be seen. But Behar certainly gave us a clip. Watch it above, via ABC.
