Tom Brady Addresses New NFL ‘DeflateGate’ Report

Patriots QB Tom Brady broke his silence tonight about the damning NFL report saying he was “generally aware” of the plans to deflate game balls.

Brady sat down with Jim Gray at Salem State, and they wasted no time in getting to the elephant in the room. Brady said he doesn’t really have a reaction yet to the report, because he hasn’t had “much time to digest it fully.”

He said he’ll be ready to fully address it soon, once he feels more comfortable about it, but Brady said he appreciates all the love and support he’s been getting.

A lot of that love and support came from inside the room, as people burst out into wild cheering every couple of seconds for Brady.

Patriots owner Robert Kraft reacted to the report with disappointment and said it lacked any “hard evidence of deliberate deflation of footballs.” Brady’s agent, meanwhile, argued that the NFL and the Indianapolis Colts (the opposing team during the game in question) were “collaborating in a sting operation.”
