Trump Hits ‘Grandstanders’ Walking Away From White House Manufacturing Council

President Trump is back on Twitter again and he’s taking aim at the three CEOs who withdrew from the White House’s American Manufacturing Council.
For every CEO that drops out of the Manufacturing Council, I have many to take their place. Grandstanders should not have gone on. JOBS!
— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) August 15, 2017
On Monday, Trump directed his ire at Kenneth Frazier after the CEO of Merck Pharmaceuticals announced his resignation from the jobs board. Frazier hinted that his decision was at least partially motivated by how Trump handled the aftermath of the recent racial hostilities in Charlottesville.
Hours after Frazier’s departure, he was followed by Under Armour CEO Kevin Plank and Brian Krzanich of Intel.
