Trump: John Harwood’s Career is ‘Probably Ruined, or Certainly Threatened’
During a news conference in promotion of his new book, Crippled America, Donald Trump took several questions regarding his recent complaints about the Republican debate format, particularly his ire for CNBC’s John Harwood.
Trump began by talking about how great he’s done and how he’s won all three GOP debates, but said that the CNBC’s debate shows that they are “good for [him], but we need to be treated fairly.” He also included a few punches at the Democratic debate, saying that Hillary Clinton‘s performance was “staged” so that she wouldn’t have to face any tough questions.
After that, Trump, who has made no secret of his dislike for Harwood, started gunning for him. He mocked Harwood’s line of questioning from the debate, and said that in his opinion, Harwood’s career is “probably ruined, or certainly threatened.”
