Trump Reponds to Comey’s New Letter: ‘You Can’t Review 650,000 New Emails in Eight Days’

Donald Trump has responded to James Comey‘s announcement today that his new probe into Hillary Clinton hasn’t changed his conclusion regarding her email situation.

As he spoke to a crowd in Michigan on Sunday, Trump ranted again about how Clinton is being shielded by the “totally rigged system.”

“You can’t review 650,000 new emails in 8 days.”

This argument is the same one that Trump supporter General Michael Flynn previously made in response to the bombshell:

Trump went on to say that while Comey’s decision has been made, the investigation into Clinton will continue because “the rank and file special agents won’t let her get away with her terrible crimes.”

Reports indicate that after the FBI gave the new emails their full attention in the last few days, and they found that nearly all of them were duplicates of previously reviewed messages. The ones that were new apparently didn’t pertain to government buinsess.
