Trump Touts Jobs (and Fox Business) in New Tweet

President Donald Trump was blunt in a Tuesday morning tweet taking a victory lap around better than expected jobs numbers for his first full month as president.

The tweet was accompanied by a series of screengrabs — all originating from the Fox Business network. Among the facts highlighted in the images were upwards growth in construction, manufacturing, healthcare, and mining jobs; a low unemployment rate of 4.7; and sky high numbers across the Dow Jones Industrial Average, S&P 500, and the Nasdaq Composite Index.

While Trump routinely trashed positive employment news from the same government agencies on the campaign trail, his Press Secretary Sean Spicer recently told the press corps that he had changed his mind about their accuracy.
