President Trump has tweeted out a brief statement on the terrorist attack in Barcelona:

The United States condemns the terror attack in Barcelona, Spain, and will do whatever is necessary to help. Be tough & strong, we love you!

At least one person has died and dozens more are injured after a van drove through the crowd in Barcelona. The police have confirmed it was a terrorist attack.
