Trump’s Emergency Alert System Test Prompts Jokes, Freak Outs: Tiffany Trump Finally Got a Text From Dad

A short time ago, millions of cell phones went off across America as people received this message:

That was a result of the test that just took place for the Presidential Alert system.

The message was sent out by President Donald Trump through the nationwide wireless emergency alert. As you might’ve already guessed, this was a system check on FEMA’s ability to send out special news bulletins in the event of natural disasters, terror attacks and other such large scale developments.

The Department of Homeland Security announced that they’d be performing the test today and it was monitored across various media outlets. But the Internet had a few things to say about this. Here are the most humorous responses, along with a handful of freakouts:
