Trump’s Supreme Court Announcement Divides Twitter: #ShockANDKavanaugh

The Twitterverse went full throttle on Monday night after President Donald Trump announced that he is nominating Brett Kavanaugh to replace Anthony Kennedy once he retires from the Supreme Court.
The news comes after weeks of breathless speculation, especially from critics who feared that Trump would choose someone who would roll back Roe V. Wade and various progressive rulings that have come from the judicial branch. Now that Kavanaugh’s nomination has been confirmed, political observers are bound to pour through his judicial history to get a sense of what his appointment could mean for the country.
Of course, Trump’s pick was bound to be met with controversy, and since Kavanaugh’s nomination will affect the Supreme Court’s rulings for generations to come, people didn’t hesitate to share their thoughts and hot takes.

I know nothing about Trump’s SCOTUS nominee yet other than that the left will immediately portray him as the most dangerous threat to America since the Soviet Union.
