Twitter Reacts to Old Trump Tweet Where He Bragged About Dating Girls ‘Young Enough’ to Be His Daughter

There truly is a President Donald Trump tweet for every occasion.
In light of the recent spate of allegations against Alabama senate candidate Roy Moore, who has been accused of sexually assaulting minors when he was in his 30s, Internet sleuths have dug up this old Trump tweet.
@rexrode_lisa
"@realDonaldTrump you date girls young enough to be your daughter.That's perverted" Dated. No, that's talent.— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) July 23, 2013
The tweet was actually a response to criticism, with a Twitter user alleging that Trump likes to “date girls young enough to be your daughter.”
Trump used the opportunity to talk up his ample libido and pheromone-laced charm, replying “Dated. No, that’s talent,” taking care to note that he was now a married man.
At the time of this tweet, Trump’s actual daughter, Ivanka Trump, was 32, so this admission is a far cry from the bombshell allegations against Moore.
Still, Twitter users wasted no time in pouncing on the president, making it feel like 2013 all over again:

This isn’t the only time an old Trump tweet has been the subject of scrutiny. Before becoming a politician, he made several body-shaming jokes and became strangely obsessed with the relationship between actors Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattison.
There’s also this old nugget, in which he warned Twitter users about another politician who has been accused of sexual misconduct, Anthony Weiner.
In the meantime, let’s hope there isn’t an old tweet that finds the president discussing the finer points of his nuclear fallout shelter.
