UK Prisoner’s Rooftop Protest Includes Dancing to Sisqo’s ‘Thong Song’
Stuart Horner, a convicted murderer serving time at HM Prison Manchester, otherwise known as “Strangeways,” has been sitting atop the building for three days as part of a prisoners’ rights protest.
By Tuesday, a large gathering of supporters, most them partying, had flocked outside the prison to watch everything unfold. They’re even partying:

According to the Manchester Evening News, the group played Sisqo’s famous “Thong Song” on loudspeakers, and Horner danced to it.
Prison and local authorities have made several attempts to remove Horner from the roof, but all have been unsuccessful. The most recent occurred on Tuesday, when police in riot gear tried to surprise the protester while he was napping:
