WABC Reporter Dies After Suffering Brain Hemorrhage Following a Live Shot
WABC reporter Lisa Colagrossi passed away after suffering a brain hemorrhage while on assignment. She was 49 years old.
Colagrossi’s colleagues announced her tragic passing on the air yesterday, praising her professionalism, fearlessness, and kindness.
According to Deadline, Colagrossi was in the news van, heading back to the station, after covering a huge fire in Queens this past Wednesday. As a friend recalls, she suddenly said, “Oh my God, something is wrong.” Colagrossi was rushed to the hospital and passed away on Friday.
